Soapbox Shivers is an all original Alt Country/ Rock Band made up of 4 veteran rock musicians from Tempe/Phoenix Arizona. Curtis Grippe(Drums), Steve Larson (Guitar), Matt Sadler(Bass) and Mark Moffatt (Vocals and Guitar). Curtis and Steve hail from the Arizona Hall of Fame and Atlantic Recording artists “Deadhot Workshop” and Matt and Mark from the critically acclaimed band “The Stumbles”. The four of us teamed up, in what we whole heartedly believe to be the best studio in Arizona (STEM Recording), purely for the joy of creating music we love. Essentially writing a song a week for 14 weeks, the songs are as organic as songs could be, written and recorded in the moment. This process bred an energy that is palpable from the moment you begin to listen. Soapbox Shivers is inspired by the truth we more easily tell in song than in conversation.
